Membership Tiers and Benefits
Ecosystem Affiliates ($50K) - Designed for organizations interested in Stanford's quantum research, faculty, and students, and in engaging with the broader Q-FARM community, without the commitment of a focused research area. Ecosystem members receive the full shared benefit layer. This tier is well suited to venture capital firms, private equity and corporate venture groups, instrument and component suppliers, and companies establishing a first position in quantum.
Research Affiliates ($135k) - Ideal for organizations ready to support research within the program. In addition to all benefits offered by the Ecosystem tier, Research members gain engagement in specific quantum research direction , the visiting scholar opportunity, and the option to purchase additional tokens. This tier is well suited to companies beginning a sustained research relationship with Stanford.
Strategic Affiliates ($220k) - Designed for organizations ready to deepen their engagement across the program. It includes all the benefits of the Research tier, and enables broader and deeper engagement with Stanford faculty, students, and the quantum innovation ecosystem. This tier is suited to companies whose quantum roadmap depends on more than one area of the program's research and who want sustained interaction with Stanford faculty and students across the program.
Startup Affiliates ($20k) - A published reduced rate for early-stage companies with fewer than 50 employees and under $50M in cumulative equity funding. Both criteria must be met. Startup members receive the full shared benefit layer. This tier is intended for seed and early-stage quantum companies and recent university spinouts that need access to the talent pipeline and the research community before they are ready to support a research area.
