Kevin Wells

Kevin Wells is executive director of the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics. Previously, he led the networking teams in software engineering at Apple, Inc. Before joining Apple, Kevin was CEO of Revver, an internet video network, and held executive positions with Medtronic Diabetes and The Walt Disney Company. He is a committed environmental leader and serves as board chair of Environment Now, an activist foundation focused on protecting California’s natural environment. 

Kevin holds a BS in physics, an MS in electrical engineering, and an MBA, all from Stanford. He serves on the Stanford Humanities and Sciences Council.  Kevin completed his pilot training while an undergraduate and has remained an active general aviation pilot ever since. Kevin and his wife, Stacia, live in Atherton with their four children.
