2025 Bloch Fellow
Isaac Zheng studies emergent properties of quantum materials using transport and scanning probe techniques. His prior research focused on engineered electronic phases in moiré superlattices. Looking ahead, he is interested in the intersection of quantum information science and condensed matter physics, aiming to leverage tools from circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) and scanning SQUID microscopy to probe, control, and manipulate correlated quantum systems. Isaac’s faculty supervisors are David Goldhaber-Gordon and Charlotte Bottcher. He joined Q-FARM in July 2025.
