Chao Yin

Chao Yin studies quantum many-body systems through the lenses of quantum information, condensed matter physics, and mathematics. His research explores the power and robustness of quantum information processing under physical constraints, as well as the novel nonequilibrium dynamics that can arise in many-body systems. Chao’s faculty supervisors are Vedika Khemani, Adam Bouland, Jeongwan Haah and Patrick Hayden. His expected start date is September 2025.
