Visiting Faculty Program

Q-FARM is soliciting nominations for its visiting faculty program for the 2024-25 academic year.
The fellowships provide up to $10,000 per month in support up to a maximum of $40,000, in addition to round trip airfare. The visiting faculty member should work in quantum measurement, quantum materials, quantum information, quantum optics or a related area.
Q-FARM visiting faculty will be expected to give a lecture in the Q-FARM seminar, a departmental colloquium, or other suitable campus venue but otherwise have no formal responsibilities beyond doing research.
A nomination package consists of the following:
- Two (2) short nomination letters from Stanford/SLAC faculty describing the candidate and their research
Optional:
- CV including list of publications
- A letter from the candidate confirming their intention to visit if awarded the fellowship
Nomination packages should be sent in a single email from a Stanford host to junnagui@stanford.edu. Applications will be considered on an ongoing basis. Applications will be given consideration as long as funds are available.
