Abstract:
In this talk I’ll try to persuade Savas of the tremendous discovery potential of the LHC's Run 3 and the HL-LHC, highlighting prospects for the direct discovery of motivated signals under our noses, indirect discovery of new physics with energy-assisted precision measurements, enhanced sensitivity from auxiliary detectors, and promising new ways of interrogating the data such as machine learning and optimal transport.
