This workshop is hosted by Hideo Mabuchi, Martin M Fejer and Mazyar Mirrahimi.
Researchers working in microwave and optical domains will compare approaches to studying and functionalizing coherent nonlinear wave-mixing processes. Speakers will address the frontiers of wave-mixing applications in broadband/ultrafast settings and in the context of quantum information processing. What novel capabilities can be realized at the device level, what practical performance limits can we foresee, and what are the implications for circuit/system design?
