Greetings, Q-FARM!

Last month, Stanford held its 131st commencement ceremony, celebrating the achievements of students in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 classes. Q-FARM is proud of its own graduates, who are heading off on the next steps of their intellectual and professional journeys. I invite you to read about Nazli and Noah in this newsletter, two students graduating this year with Stanford’s class of 2022.

Summer is the season when many labs welcome new researchers and delve into special projects. The Stanford Summer Physics Research Program is now underway. Take a moment to get to know three researchers that Q-FARM is helping to support: Julia, Jean-Michel, and Vijay.

Last, but far from least, join me in thanking Professor Amir Safavi-Naeini – and many others! – for their work putting together Q-FARM’s seminars during the past academic year. Amir’s research is also featured in this issue.

Wishing you a pleasant summer.
